    Techworks Consulting, an award-winning MSP recognized as one of the best places to work on Long Island, is seeking a Technical Account Manager to serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner for assigned client accounts.

    This is a hands-on, client-facing rolewhere you’ll bridge business needs and technical delivery—helping clients get maximum value from their IT environments while ensuring alignment with internal service and engineering teams. This is an in-person role based in Ronkonkoma, NY.

    What You’ll Do

    • Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned client accounts

    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders

    • Understand client business goals and align IT services and solutions accordingly

    • Lead regular check-ins, QBRs, and strategic planning conversations

    • Coordinate with service desk, engineering, and project teams to ensure timely resolution and delivery

    • Translate technical issues and solutions into clear, business-friendly communication

    • Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities within client environments

    • Recommend improvements, upgrades, and additional services to enhance client outcomes and value

    What You Bring

    • 2+ years of experience as a Technical Account Manager, Account Manager, or similar client-facing IT role

    • MSP or IT services experience strongly preferred

    • Solid understanding of SMB IT environments and common technologies

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly

    • Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and stakeholders effectively

    • Comfort identifying opportunities for account growth and solution alignment

    • Willingness to participate in occasional after-hours support during critical incidents or project needs
