Technical Accounting Manager – Healthcare Industry

A leading, mission-driven healthcare organization is looking to add a Technical Accounting Manager to their growing corporate finance team. This is a high-impact role supporting technical accounting, policy development, and complex transactions across a large, multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead preparation of whitepapers and memos on areas like consolidation, impairments, joint ventures, contingencies, and unique transactions
• Own and maintain the enterprise-wide accounting policy library (FASB and GASB standards)
• Research new accounting guidance and provide recommendations for implementation
• Support M&A activity, audits, HSR filings, and special projects
• Help train internal stakeholders on technical accounting concepts
• Establish a quarterly accounting certification process to ensure policy compliance across all entities

Qualifications:

• CPA required
• 5+ years of experience in technical accounting 
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (FASB and/or GASB) and experience in a large, complex organization
• Skilled at researching accounting guidance and translating it into policy
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across functions
• Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
