Position Summary:
The Technical Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing complex accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and providing guidance on technical accounting matters. This role supports financial reporting, audits, and the implementation of new accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical accounting expertise on complex transactions, including revenue recognition, leases, derivatives, and consolidations.

• Review and analyze financial statements for compliance with GAAP and internal policies.

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

• Prepare and review disclosures for SEC or regulatory filings, if applicable.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new accounting standards and policy changes.

• Assist external auditors and respond to audit inquiries related to technical accounting matters.

• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff on complex accounting issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with strong exposure to technical accounting.

• In-depth knowledge of GAAP, accounting standards, and financial reporting.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in SEC reporting a plus.
