Technical Assembler & Solderer – 1st & 2nd Shift (AER)

Location: Antioch, TN 37013

Agency: Abacus Corporation – Smyrna Branch

Pay Range: $19.00 – $24.00/hr (Based on experience and shift)

SHIFT AVAILABILITY

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Mon–Fri)

• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (Mon–Fri)

POSITION OVERVIEW

Are you skilled with your hands and have a "steady touch"? Abacus is looking for Technical Assemblers and Soldering Specialists in Antioch.

We are looking for people who enjoy detail-oriented work—whether you have years of professional electronics experience or have developed your skills through specialized assembly, hobbyist repair (cell phones/gaming consoles), or technical schooling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on Assembly: Working with small components on motherboards and circuit boards.

• Soldering: Performing component-level repair (soldering/de-soldering).

• Testing: Using simple testing equipment to make sure the boards are working perfectly.

• Precision Work: Following technical drawings (blueprints/schematics) to complete repairs.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for people with High Manual Dexterity. You might be a great fit if you have experience in:

• Electronics Manufacturing / PCB Assembly

• Cell Phone or Small Appliance Repair

• Wiring Harnessing or Car Audio Installation

• Detailed Crafting: (Experience with jewelry making, watch repair, or complex model building often translates well!)

Requirements:

• The "Bench Test": You will get to show off your skills! Qualified candidates will do a quick, hands-on soldering evaluation with the Shop Supervisor.

• Communication: Ability to follow written work instructions and maintain clear communication with the team.
