Job Description
CNBC is looking for an exceptional Technical Associate to join our Operations team. The Technical Associate will be responsible for executing a range of technical production roles for live, taped and streaming CNBC programming. This individual should possess a clear understanding of production workflows, from asset creation to studio and control room operations. The candidate should be fluent in the operation of PC-based systems. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who embraces new technology, innovation and creative problem-solving. We operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure conditions, this individual should have exposure to live broadcasting culture and be comfortable working in this environment.
Candidates must be available to work at all hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Technical Production roles include, but are not limited to the following:
Stage Managing
Jib Camera
Pedestal Camera
AR & STYPE knowledge
Prompter & Clip Playback
Video Shading & Robotic Camera Control
Remote Robotic Camera
Studio Graphic Playback, Wall Operations
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Experience in a live broadcast environment
Ability to work all hours including nights, weekends, holidays
Desired Qualifications:
BA or college-level equivalent
Creative troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to perform in fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Excellent communication skills
Excellent in working in a team environment

This position is required to be performed full-time from an Versant-designated worksite.
