Manifest Solutions is currently seeking a Maximo Business Analyst for an onsite position in Columbus, OH. Will also consider remote if currently residing in one of the following states: WV, VA, MI, IN, OK, LA, TX, TN, AR, or KY.
- Ability to use business analysis techniques and tools for use case modeling, data modeling, process mapping and testing.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new domains by collaborating with business and technical teams
- Able to understand and apply technology solutions by translating business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and basic system configuration.
- Responsible for business unit relationships and overseeing, managing and leveraging the entire life cycle of information technology investments in systems for a department.
- Able to use multiple techniques for requirements elicitation and document creation, establishes business capabilities, and ensures asset organization and refinement.
- Lead or participate in process redesign and support activities, including using tools, responding to user questions, problem diagnosis, recognition and solutions for process improvements, research, troubleshooting, tracking and resolution.
- Research best practices to develop innovative solutions for complex process improvement efforts or business needs.
- Develops and implements business analysis standards and ensures compliance with standards.
- Creates and communicates capabilities and scope plans to all levels of business technical staff.
- Provide training and mentoring, as well as work direction, to others on the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business or related field of study with 7 years of work experience OR Associate's degree in computer science with 9 years of relevant work experience OR High school diploma/GED with 11 years of relevant work experience
- Maximo experience required
- Working knowledge of project methodologies like waterfall and Agile Scrum.
- Ability to effectively translate functional and non-functional requirements to technology teams.
- Data exploration and analysis skills (i.e. SQL)
- Strong experience in facilitating value stream mapping sessions to analyze current state, gather requirements for future state and gap analysis.
- Experience in analyzing requirements for business transformation projects.
