    Technical Business Development Director – U.S.

    We are seeking a driven and experienced Technical Business Development Director to lead its U.S. growth strategy. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who excels at identifying new business opportunities, engaging key decision-makers, and closing high-impact deals. Based in California, you will be a core member of the commercial team, reporting directly to the Head of Sales and playing a key role in expanding our presence across the United States.

    Key Responsibilities

    As the Technical Business Development Director, you will:

    • Lead business development and sales initiatives for nutritional, cosmeceutical, and functional food ingredients across assigned U.S. territories.
    • Expand the customer base by identifying, engaging, and securing new business opportunities with leading supplement and nutraceutical brands, as well as multinational companies.
    • Represent the company’s science-backed, IP-protected technologies and ingredients with credibility and technical expertise.
    • Translate complex scientific data into clear, commercially compelling messaging for brand partners, marketers, and R&D teams.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with B2B customers, distributors, and key industry stakeholders.
    • Achieve or exceed sales goals through strategic planning, customer engagement, and focused execution.
    • Monitor market trends and conduct research to support product positioning and growth initiatives.
    • Travel up to 50% to engage with clients and prospects directly.
    • Attend major U.S. and international industry trade shows, conferences, and customer innovation days.

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will bring:

    • A scientific or technical background, ideally with a degree in a relevant field.
    • 10–15 years of B2B sales and technical experience in the nutraceutical or cosmeceutical ingredient industries.
    • A strong track record of driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets.
    • An established network within the supplement, nutrition, or cosmeceutical sectors.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency with CRM systems and a data-driven approach to sales strategy.

    Compensation: $200,000 plus full benefits!
