    Position Overview:

    Dayton-Granger, Inc. (DG) is a 3rd generation, family-owned aerospace manufacturer with more than 82 years of experience producing antennas, electrostatic dischargers, and lightning protection components for global commercial, military, and general aviation programs. All engineering, design, and manufacturing occur at our single location in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

    The Technical Configuration Management Specialist serves as a critical support link between Engineering, Document Control, and Manufacturing. This role manages engineering change processes, maintains BOM accuracy, ensures revision control, and coordinates the release of technical documentation essential to production. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, organized, and experienced in supporting engineering teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    ** Key Responsibilities:**

    • Coordinate and process engineering change requests (ECRs), engineering change notices (ECNs), and manufacturing change requests
    • (MCRs), along with manufacturing-related updates including BOM, MPS/work instructions, runtime, and tooling changes.
    • Manage document revisions to ensure accuracy, traceability, and version control across drawings, specifications, and technical records.
    • Create and maintain items, drawings, and supporting data in INFOR, including linking and associating related documentation.
    • Support the release and distribution of new or revised documents to align with production and work order requirements.
    • Ensure all documentation meets ISO 9001, AS9100, and ITAR/EAR compliance standards.
    • Maintain accurate records within document management systems (IDM, PLM, or SharePoint) and assist with linking or migrating historical data.
    • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure documentation accurately reflects current production standards.
    • Assist with developing and maintaining templates, labels, and reports using Bartender or equivalent software.
    • Support audits, configuration management reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management and follow all Dayton-Granger safety procedures.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred (Engineering, Business, or Technical field).

    • 3+ years of experience in document control, engineering documentation, or manufacturing administrative support.

    • Proficiency with ERP systems (INFOR preferred) and document management tools (IDM, PLM, SharePoint, etc.).

    • Knowledge of engineering drawings, BOM structures, revision control, and manufacturing documentation.

    • Understanding of ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality standards and ITAR/EAR data handling requirements.

    • Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, technical manufacturing environment.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

    Nice-To-Have:

    • Experience working with CATIA or similar CAD software is a strong plus.
