Technical Data Lead

Job Summary:

The Client is seeking an experienced Technical Data Lead to architect and oversee the implementation of enterprise data solutions. The role will ensure the development of high-performance, secure, and scalable data platforms supporting mission-critical pension systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead design and implementation of data architectures for both legacy and modern systems.

Provide technical leadership for ETL development, data warehousing, and integration.

Define standards for data modeling, metadata, lineage, and security.

Collaborate with infrastructure, DBA, and application teams on system builds and enhancements.

Conduct performance tuning, data profiling, and system optimization.

Provide mentoring and oversight to technical staff and consultants.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or similar leadership roles.

Proficiency in enterprise data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Snowflake).

Advanced SQL, data modeling, and ETL pipeline development experience.

Strong knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance standards.

Experience with pension systems or government data environments preferred.
