Technical Manager - Pesticides
The Technical Manager will lead advanced laboratory tasks, including complex sample analysis, method development, and project management. This role involves mentoring junior technicians and ensuring high-quality results in all laboratory activities. The Technical Manager will play a key role in driving innovation and continuous improvement within the laboratory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead advanced sample analysis using specialized techniques.
Develop new methods and protocols for laboratory procedures.
Manage research projects and ensure timely completion.
Participate in scientific communities, attend instrumentation vendor trade shows, and network with other professionals in the analytical industry to stay abreast of developing analytical technology.
Mentor junior technicians and provide training.
Ensure high-quality results in all laboratory activities.
Stay updated with advancements in the field and integrate new techniques.
Maintain instruments, supplies, and samples in appropriate operational conditions, interfacing with vendors when required.
Oversee laboratory safety and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.
Extensive experience in advanced laboratory techniques (Phosphatase, DMSCC, TKN / NPN / NCN, Mojo Execution, Acid Hydrolysis, WPN, Aflatoxin)
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
Proven track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement.
