    • Lead and support a team of software engineers.
    • Spend ~30% of time in the code (reviewing code, PRs, etc.).
    • Mentor and coach team members regularly.
    • Set goals, give feedback, and manage performance.

    • Guide Agile/Scrum development practices.
    • Partner with product and design teams.
    • Plan and prioritize team projects.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5-7 years of leading and managing Android mobile teams
    • Minimum 5 years experience designing and implementing enterprise grade software.
    • Strong knowledge of Kotlin for Android
    • Familiarity with Android 9 (API Level 28) and up required
    • Experience in working with scalable Android UI
    • A clear understanding of the difference between mobile product libraries, mobile applications and client-specific extensions
    • Understanding of distributed multi-tier infrastructure.
    • Knowledge of architecture design patterns such as MVVM
    • Experience with multithreading, memory management
    • Knowledge of Android performance profiling tools and optimization techniques
    • Experience in functional testing
    • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

    • Easy-going and flexible individual who can integrate and function within a pre-existing team
    • Can lead small teams of engineers
    • Self-starter can operate with minimal direction
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills capable of leading design/architecture & training sessions.
    • A creative thinker and experienced problem solver.
    • Proven at multi-tasking
