About the Job
The Technical Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating and managing marketing materials that communicate our high-purity inorganic metals and ceramics to customers, as well as coordinating design, website, social media, and media projects. The role entails developing brochures, datasheets, and web content, collaborating with sales to highlight priority products, directing or executing graphic design and UI/UX work, managing website development, and running social media channels. Additionally, the role is responsible for evaluating how we interact with customers, identifying opportunities to improve engagement, and ensuring that all communications are accurate, consistent, and aligned with customer needs.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain technical marketing materials including brochures, datasheets, presentations, and web content
Coordinate website updates with developers, while also managing layout and content creation
Manage company social media presence across relevant platforms, creating posts, graphics, and campaigns that align with sales priorities
Communicate with and direct external graphic designers or handle design and UI/UX projects directly
Collaborate with the sales team to identify hot products, market trends, and customer priorities
Evaluate customer-facing communications and propose improvements for effectiveness and clarity
Ensure brand consistency and accuracy across all published media
Support sales efforts with timely, relevant marketing collateral and digital resources
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines with accuracy and quality
The Technical Marketing Specialist, like all positions at LTS Research Laboratories, Inc., will require a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the company by assisting in many areas beyond specific job duties.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; or significant relevant professional experience in technical marketing
2+ years of experience in product marketing, communications, or a similar role (experience in technical or manufacturing sectors is a strong plus)
Proficiency in at least one graphic design or UI/UX design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, or similar), with willingness to learn additional tools
Experience managing website projects and working with developers
Strong ability to translate technical product details into customer-friendly content
Hands-on experience with social media management, including creating content calendars and tracking engagement metrics
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with attention to accuracy
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Self-starter with critical thinking skills and a customer-oriented mindset
