Core Responsibilities (after 90 days) • Own deployments independently (setup, readiness, and daily operations) • Own maintenance independently (preventive maintenance + troubleshooting) • Train new operators and document best practices
In Scope • Deployment (setup, readiness, field ops) • Maintenance (preventive + troubleshooting) • Training (new operators + documentation)
Startup flexibility (adjacent support areas) • Inventory and organization of storage (scanner equipment + overall CAT equipment) • Support running a CAT site with guidance/support (when needed) • Occasional back-office support (e.g., invoicing support) when priorities require it
Must-have skills • Fast learner with software (scanner software + workflow tools) • Hardware maintenance/troubleshooting experience • Comfortable towing/driving larger vehicles and trailers (including ~30 ft trailer) • Highly independent and reliable (can work alone and own outcomes) • Willing to travel long distance and stay 1–2 weeks per trip • Comfortable working with a remote software/hardware team to solve issues
Nice-to-have • Auto industry experience • Prior experience working with a software/support department
Travel & schedule • Estimated travel: ~60% (typical trips 1–2 weeks depending on hail events) • Must be flexible for short-notice deployments during hail season
Physical requirements • Able to lift/carry equipment and perform setup tasks • Able to climb ladders and work safely around equipment and trailers
Compensation & incentives • W-2 (salary), full-time • Target salary range: $55,000–$70,000 (depending on experience) • Profit-share / performance incentive: defined based on company performance and role contribution • 90-day introductory period supported by a clear 30-60-90 plan
Travel compensation (when overnight travel is required) • Per diem: $70/day • Lodging: up to $120/night • Fuel/business travel covered • If a job site is more than a 6-hour drive away, flights home are provided every second week • After two months of continuous travel, the manager may work two weeks locally in the Dallas region
Equipment provided • Company computer + phone (and iPad if needed for operations)
