We're seeking an experienced and results-driven Technical Specialty Paper Sales Account Manager to lead our client's sales efforts primarily in the US. As a key member of their team, you'll be responsible for driving business growth, developing new client relationships, and expanding their existing customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all paper sales within a designated region
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Technical Departments to drive business growth and develop new products
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with a "hunter" mindset
- Grow existing customer relationships and demonstrate a proven track record of sales success
- Collect and communicate competitive market information to inform business decisions
Requirements:
- 4-year degree or relevant paper manufacturing experience
- Minimum 5 years of sales territory experience, preferably in specialty paper
- Ability to travel 50% of the time and work extended hours to meet goals
- Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Sales Force
Preferred Qualifications:
- Label experience
- Experience in the packaging side of our business
What They Offer:
- Competitive base salary: $150k - $175k
