Electrical Engineer

Currently looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to fill an opening with a company in Elgin, IL. Interested candidates should have at least 4 years of Electrical Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment and hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or technical equivalent.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer

• Be responsible for the design of electrical and control systems for automation used in-house for production
• Program Allen-Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers
• Use AutoCAD to document, design and troubleshoot electrical schematics used in the control panels for automated machinery
• Be responsible for Human Machine Interface software integration and improvements as needed
• Troubleshoot, debug and improve existing electrical controls for automated machinery such as upgrading the sensors for part detection

Requirements of the Electrical Engineer

• At least 4 years of Electrical Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or technical equivalent is required

Compensation for the Electrical Engineer

The targeted starting annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000.00 to $100,000.00 depending on experience.
