Our client is hiring a Field Service Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer
- You will install robotically integrated equipment using robots such as Kuka, Motoman, Fanuc and OTC for use in MIG, TIG and resistance welding applications.
- Handle preventative and corrective maintenance on robots used in the field.
- Calibrate and assemble robots for use in the field while making very minor programming changes if necessary.
- Serve as a technical liaison with other engineers.
- Repair and upgrade the controls on robots that are already in the field.
Requirements of the Field Service Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or technical equivalent is required or a Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering from Ohio State, LeTourneau, Ferris State or Cal Poly is a strong plus but not required.
- Entry level candidates are welcome to apply and experience with robots and welding is a strong plus.
- Travel up to 75% of the time and mostly in the US will be required.

Compensation for the Field Service Engineer
The targeted annual starting salary for this position ranges from $50,000.00 to $80,000.00 plus OT and great benefits depending on experience.
