Design Engineer Rolling Meadows, IL

Currently looking for a Design Engineer to fill an opening with a company in Rolling Meadows, IL. Interested candidates should have one to three years of experience in design engineering within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities of the Design Engineer

• Apply your SolidWorks expertise to design products and assemblies comprised of wireforms, fasteners, powdercoating, wet paint, sheetmetal, plastics, wood and other materials
• Develop exploded view and detailed drawings to meet customer requirements
• Be to serve as a liaison with the customer's engineers to develop products to meet their specifications
• Manage your projects using Gantt Charts, Microsoft Project or other timeline management programs

Requirements of the Design Engineer

• At least one to three years of SolidWorks design engineering is required
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required

Compensation for the Mechanical Engineer

The targeted annual base salary for this first shift position ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 depending on experience.
