Service Technician (Entry Level)

Our client is hiring an entry-level Service Technician!

Responsibilities of the Service Technician

• You will have the opportunity to apply your recently completed Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree in conjunction with your hands-on mechanical and technical aptitude to service advanced automation and machinery used in the field.
• After training on our client's high technology machinery, you will install, upgrade and repair equipment and systems.
• You will also troubleshoot the equipment after the sale and installation and serve as a technical liaison as needed.
• Identify the assignable root causes of technical issues and report to the in-house engineering team to address as needed.

Requirements of the Service Technician

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or technical equivalent is required
• Entry level or up to two years of full-time experience in engineering, experience as a technician or field service engineering is required
• A hands-on aptitude with the ability to use hand tools is required
• An absolute willingness to be trained on our client's technology from the ground up
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time and mostly in the US including short notice weekend travel if necessary

Compensation for the Service Technician

The targeted annual starting salary for this position ranges from $45,000.00 to $48,000.00 plus OT, great benefits and great travel benefits depending on experience.
