Mechanical Engineer

Due to global growth, our client is hiring a Mechanical Engineer! Apply your Mechanical Engineering degree in conjunction with your hands-on SolidWorks aptitude to be in a Design Engineering role.

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer

• You will design ergonomically friendly assemblies made of sheet metal, injection-molded plastics and/or wireforms
• Use SolidWorks to design and develop from a napkin sketch concept all the way to full production
• Serve as a technical liaison working with global customers to identify their design requirements
• Manage your own product designs and schedules using a project management software such as MS Project

Requirements of the Mechanical Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or technical equivalent is required
• Entry level up to three years of full-time experience will be relevant for this position although recent graduates without experience with be strongly considered as long as they have very good Co-Op or internship experience
• An office furniture or Point of Purchase Display design background would be a plus!

Compensation for the Mechanical Engineer

The targeted annual starting salary for this position ranges from $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 depending on experience.
