    Our client is hiring an entry-level AutoBody Service Technician who is interested in being trained to be a Field Service Technician for advanced CNC machinery!

    Responsibilities of the AutoBody Service Technician

    • You will have the opportunity to apply your hands-on autobody shop experience to a different field of expertise - CNC machinery upgrades, repairs and installations!
    • Our client will train you in their state of the art tech center and after training, you will upgrade, repair, install and commission advanced automated machinery in the field.
    • Troubleshoot the equipment after installation and serve as a technical liaison as needed.
    • Be a liaison to identify the assignable root causes of technical issues and be part of the problem-solving team.

    Requirements of the AutoBody Service Technician

    • Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or technical equivalent is desired but not required.
    • A certification in auto repair with autobody repair is preferred but not required. An automotive mechanic background such as autobody repair is a transferrable skillset that can be used in field service for our globally recognized client.
    • Entry level or up to five years of full-time experience as a an automotive technician or in the field of autobody repair is strongly preferred.
    • The ability to use hand tools is required as using the same tools an automotive mechanic would be most beneficial.
    • An absolute willingness to be trained on our client's technology from the ground up.
    • Travel 50% to 75% of the time and mostly in the US including short notice weekend travel may be necessary.
    • Position is temp to perm over 60 or 90 days.

    Compensation for the AutoBody Service Technician

    The targeted annual starting salary for this position ranges from $22.00 to $23.00 per hour plus OT, great benefits and great travel benefits and allowances depending on experience.
