Our client is now hiring a Tool & Die Design Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Tool & Die Design Engineer

• Using AutoCAD or another CAD platform, design tooling and progressive dies for use in Four slide and Multislide press bed sections as well as punch presses for metal stampings.
• Design jigs & fixtures for use on the shop floor.
• Estimate internal tooling costs.
• Troubleshoot the validation and runoffs pertaining to your die designs.
• Serve as a liaison working with customers as needed.

Requirements of the Tool & Die Design Engineer

• A metal stamping background such as tool and die making is required.
• At least one year of full-time engineering experience in the metal forming industry such as internships or Co-ops is a very strong plus but not required.

Compensation for the Tool & Die Design Engineer

The targeted annual starting salary for this position ranges from $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 plus bonus depending on experience.
