    Job Description

Product Manager (Full Time, Remote, Contract to Hire, US Citizen Required, No Third Party Agencies Needed)

Background: Product Managers (PMs) are central to the success of vertically integrated product teams, each owning a distinct portion of the codebase and user experience. These leaders drive product vision, prioritize outcomes, and ensure alignment between user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility—collaborating closely with Engineering disciplines and the Technical Product Lead.

Overview: We are seeking an outcome-focused, remote Product Manager with a technical background to oversee one of our software products. The ideal candidate thrives in agile environments, can effectively prioritize features, and has experience working with remote teams in a SaaS environment. (more technical, less UX)

    Responsibilities:

    • Define and evolve the product vision and strategy for the team's owned user experience and feature set, ensuring alignment with user needs, market opportunities, and company objectives.
    • Translate business goals into actionable product initiatives, balancing innovation, revenue impact, and technical constraints.
    • Facilitate prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE, WSJF) to rank backlog items, incorporating input from engineering, design, data, and operations.
    • Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and stakeholder interviews to inform prioritization and roadmap decisions.
    • Define clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring technical feasibility and testability.
    • Establish team-specific KPIs (e.g., user adoption rates for owned features, proxy targets, etc) and contribute to shared metrics (e.g., overall platform PREQ, customer satisfaction scores).
    • Serve as the primary interface between the product team and non-technical stakeholders (e.g., sales, marketing, CPD, executives) to gather requirements and secure buy-in.
    • Empower the team by providing context, clarifying goals, and fostering autonomy in delivery.
    • Drive go-to-market planning, including launch coordination, documentation, and post-launch analysis.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 4-7 years of experience managing software products, preferably in a SaaS environment.
    • Demonstrated experience using data to prioritize or drive prioritization decisions
    • Working experience with Agile methodologies; proficiency with iterative development processes required.
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • Experience with Jira and Confluence preferred.
    • Demonstrated capability to quickly learn and take ownership of processes with limited documentation.
    • Proven experience collaborating with remote or distributed teams across various time zones.

    Working Arrangements:

    • Full TIme (40hrs/week)
    • Remote
    • Periodic Travel
    • Must be available during Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours
    • Contract to hire role
