    The company develops advanced systems used in aerosol research, particle measurement, and air filtration testing. Customers include organizations in HVAC, cleanroom technology, pharmaceutical and biotech laboratories, medical device manufacturing, environmental testing, and research institutions.

    About the Role

    This is a hands-on technical role within a lean and growing U.S. organization where team members take ownership and contribute across multiple areas.

    As a Technical Product Specialist , you will support customers working with scientific measurement systems and laboratory testing equipment. The role involves helping customers understand how to select, configure, and apply specialized instrumentation used in aerosol science, particle measurement, and filtration testing environments.

    This role focuses on physical laboratory equipment and instrumentation and is not a software development or IT position.

    You will work closely with customers, support product selection and configuration discussions, collaborate with engineering teams in Germany on technical questions, and help ensure smooth coordination from initial inquiry through system delivery.

    Candidates do not need to join as a subject-matter expert. The company is looking for individuals who bring:

    Key Responsibilities

    Technical Product Support

    • Review customer requirements and recommend appropriate testing systems

    • Support system configuration and product-related technical discussions

    • Assist customers in interpreting measurement data and system capabilities

    • Coordinate complex technical questions with engineering teams in Germany

    Customer & Commercial Support

    • Maintain and develop long-term customer relationships

    • Support quotation preparation and customer communication

    • Participate in industry conferences and technical trade shows

    • Contribute to customer engagement and market development activities

    Order & Operations Coordination

    • Support order workflow from inquiry through delivery

    • Coordinate internally to ensure timely processing and quality standards

    • Maintain CRM documentation and internal reporting

    Qualifications

    • Experience in technical customer support, product support, applications support, sales support, or other customer-facing technical roles

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)

    • Ability to understand technical documentation and measurement processes

    • Structured and self-organized working style suited for a small team environment

    • Strong communication skills and customer orientation

    • Proficiency with standard office and CRM systems

    Preferred (Not Required)

    Experience in one or more of the following areas is helpful:

    • Laboratory instrumentation or scientific equipment

    • Filtration technology or HVAC testing

    • Aerosol science or particle measurement

    • Cleanroom or environmental testing

    • International collaboration with engineering teams

    • German language skills

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Base salary approximately $70,000 – $80,000 , depending on experience
