Diamond Technology is a Technical Services company. We have client who is a large local public organization with an opening for the following position:
JOB TITLE: Technical Project Coordinator for Phone & AV Systems (Temp Contract)
NUMBER OF OPENINGS: 1
DESIRED START DATE: Late June this year
LOCATION: San Francisco: HYBRID (but mostly ON-SITE + Local travel required to multiple Bay Area work locations)
DURATION: 2+ years 40 hours a week.
HOURLY RATE: $85ph to $95ph
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Experience with PHONE SYSTEMS and AUDIO-VISUAL SYSTEMS
6 years of written verifiable experience as a Technical Project Coordinator, Technical Project Lead, Technical Project Manager or similar for phone or telephony systems projects
6 years managing phone or telephony systems projects involving large scale (3,000 or more users, 100 or more rooms, across 20 or more sites) assessment and deployment and/or migration for a large company or organization (ideally a public utility or government agency).
Responsibilities for these projects include but are not limited to the following:
A. Provide analytical support and serve as the main point of contact and be the Subject Matter Expert for the Phone System and A/V migration projects to the Client Project Director and Client Staff. This role will report to the ITS Project Director.
B. Responsible for planning, project schedule creation, tracking and management of deadlines, project phases, installations, and milestones; quality, scope & change management.
C. Assist with overseeing project-related functions as-needed.
D. Coordinate site visits and requirement gathering sessions.
E. Document requirements for Client for business processes and applications.
F. Responsible for drafting agenda items and preparing and distributing meeting minutes.
G. Risk Management: Responsible for documenting risk management and contingency plans for both projects.
H. Stakeholder Engagement and Vendor Management: Implement and oversee communication strategy for internal and external stakeholders.
I. Monitor and report out on project status; identify and report out on project constraints, including advising and implementing mitigation strategies to help keep project milestone dates and schedules on track.
J. Maintain records for system documentation.
K. Develop end user communications plan.
L. Possess intermediate to advanced experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
M. Advanced experience using Project Management tools (MS Project, Asana, etc.).
N. Demonstrated experience with documenting requirements for infrastructure migration projects.
O. Demonstrated experience in Phone System, A/V implementations or equivalent technology implementation and migration projects.

Project Summary: Client is planning to perform two major infrastructure and migration projects across the entire organization over the next two to three years:
As a result of these two projects, Client is seeking to hire one (1) Technical Project Coordinator on an as-needed, time and materials basis to provide professional services to support the coordination of both projects. The Coordinator is expected to work during normal business hours, which are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, as-needed as determined by SFPUC-ITS. This position may be partially remote, at the sole discretion of Client.
