    Link Solutions is seeking a Technical Refresh Analyst to join our team at Adelphi, MD.

    The Technical Refresh Analysts will be responsible for evaluating current hardware deployments, managing procurement and replacement cycles, and ensuring alignment with DoD Enterprise infrastructure goals. The analyst will also contribute to process improvement initiatives and training activities to enhance system readiness and compliance.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate existing end-user IT equipment to identify systems requiring refresh based on lifecycle, performance, and security compliance.
    • Plan and execute technical refresh initiatives, ensuring minimal operational disruptions and seamless transitions.
    • Develop, review, and modify standard operating procedures related to property book requirements and hardware lifecycle management.
    • Conduct internal audits and develop/review corrective action plans to support asset and inventory accuracy.
    • Negotiate supplier agreements, coordinate hardware deliveries, and oversee vendor performance as part of refresh operations.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of hardware configurations, refresh schedules, and change management activities.
    • Coordinate material movement and resource allocation to meet delivery schedules and program goals.
    • Provide training to internal and external stakeholders on refresh procedures, asset tracking systems, and associated software tools.
    • Lead or participate in process improvement teams, identifying efficiencies in procurement, logistics, and deployment processes.
    • Collaborate closely with IT, logistics, and security teams to ensure refreshed systems meet technical and compliance standards.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Must be a US Citizen.
    • Must have an active DoD Security Clearance.
    • Must have a BA/BS Degree in computer science, information technology, or logistics.
    • Must have at least five (5+) years of relevant experience working in an IT asset management, procurement, lifecycle refresh, or a similar role.
    • IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
    • Must obtain a computing environment certification within 6 months of hire.
    • Demonstrated understanding of DoD procurement, property book, and infrastructure project management practices.
    • Knowledge of capital procurement processes, supplier negotiations, and service-level contracts.
    • Familiarity with audit processes, compliance frameworks, and IT service management tools (e.g., Remedy, ServiceNow).

    Preferred:

    • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 certification
    • Experience with incident management within the ServiceNow Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) platform.
    • Working knowledge of hardware configuration management tools and logistics tracking systems.
    • Process improvement or quality management certification (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ITIL v4 Foundation).
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
    • Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures.
    • Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
    • A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
    • Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
