    Technical Sales Leader (Electrical Estimating & Critical Power) We are looking for a Technical Sales Leader—the "Tip of the Spear"—to own our revenue growth, lead our estimating pipeline, and drive our Direct-To-Owner (DTO) strategy. If you are a high-energy technical expert who thrives on converting 480V/critical power leads into won work through consultative selling and disciplined pipeline management, this is your next move. This role is for you if you: • Are a Critical Power SME: You understand 480V infrastructure, UPS systems, and redundancy better than the competition. • Want to Own the "Buy": You prefer driving Direct-to-Owner (DTO) relationships over fighting in the "low-bid" plan & spec mud. • Master the DTO Strategy: You can take a client's pain point and turn it into a custom design-build solution. • Hate Letting Bids Go Cold: You move with urgency and believe follow-through is where the profit is made. • Enjoy Raising the Standard: You get satisfaction from auditing and coaching junior estimators to build a world-class preconstruction team. Responsibilities: What You Will Own: Strategic Pipeline & Sales Management • Own the estimating pipeline end-to-end. • Maintain a high-velocity response time for all inbound leads. • Act as the "Closer" on high-value, complex technical pursuits. DTO & Relationship Development • Shift our mix toward Direct-to-Owner contracts by becoming a trusted technical advisor. • Nurture relationships with GCs, facility managers, and suppliers in the mission-critical space. Technical Design-to-Order (DTO) Estimating • Perform high-level technical takeoffs for 480V commercial and industrial projects. • Identify "Scope Gaps" in drawings that others miss, protecting our gross profit and the client’s uptime. • Ensure all designs meet the latest NEC standards and local ordinances. Leadership & Mentorship • Build a "Scalable" estimating department by delegating and auditing junior estimators. • Implement rigorous quality control and feedback loops to ensure 100% accuracy. Project & Performance Profile:Specialty: Mission-critical, 480V infrastructure, and complex commercial design-build. • Typical Bid Range: $50K – $500,000+. • Win Rate Target: 30%+. • Pipeline Goal: $1.25M+ per quarter. • The Goal: 40%-50% Gross Profit through technical superiority and risk mitigation. • Lead Response: <24 hours. Qualifications: Non-Negotiables:Proven Experience: Heavy commercial/industrial electrical estimating background. • Technical Literacy: Must be able to discuss selective coordination, fault current, and NEC compliance with confidence. • Systems Thinker: Proficient in Accubid (or comparable) and CRM-driven pipeline management. Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 yearly
