    The Role

Centurion Technology is a fast-growing technology solutions provider specializing in data center hardware and enterprise infrastructure. As we expand our operations, we are looking for a driven and technically skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our lean, high-impact team.

In this role, you will act as the central hub across our customers, vendor partners, and internal stakeholders - owning the pre-sales and order lifecycle, leading deal progression, and producing the customer-facing documentation that keeps our business moving. You will work directly with company leadership and aligned vendor contacts at Dell, Arrow, and other OEM partners, with real visibility into the decisions that shape our growth.

This is a fully remote, full-time position built for someone who takes initiative, thrives with autonomy, and wants their contributions to have a direct impact on the company's trajectory. As Centurion scales, so will this role.

    Responsibilities

    • Drive solution scoping on customer requests for all data center lines of business, including server, storage, and networking
    • Own customer-facing order tracking; maintain accurate shipping details, ETAs, and proactive status updates for both customers and internal stakeholders
    • Coordinate with end users and logistics carriers to manage inbound IDs and delivery timelines
    • Lead vendor deal registration across key partners, including Dell, Arrow, and other OEMs
    • Build and deliver accurate customer-facing quotes using CTech internal tools and standard quote formats
    • Process purchase orders (PO's) and ensure documentation is complete and correct
    • Conduct data research and generate reports from prior orders and projects as needed
    • Develop and maintain proficiency in vendor portals, including ArrowSphere, Dell Partner Portal, and others
    • Complete required vendor certifications and training prior to expiration (e.g., Dell, AMD)

    Job Requirements

    • A track record of taking ownership in fast-moving environments; you've stepped up, filled gaps, and made things happen without being asked
    • 3+ years of experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Technical Account Executive, or similar role
    • 3+ years of experience working with OEM vendors selling data center hardware (Dell preferred; HPE, NetApp, SuperMicro, or Pure Storage experience also welcomed)
    • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills being critical
    • A firm understanding of server hardware architecture, with the ability to configure using vendor tools
    • Basic understanding of storage technologies; ability to size and configure storage solutions is a strong plus
    • Experience with vendor platforms such as Salesforce, ArrowSphere, Dell Partner Portal (OSC, Premier, Training), SMC Configurator, NetApp Partner Portal, or Rubrik Partner Portal
    • Familiarity with tools such as PandaDoc, Zoom, and Slack
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to convey technical requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Ability to travel approximately 4 times per year for short trips within the Northeast U.S.- added
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

    Bonus points

    • Any active vendor or technical certifications (Dell, AMD, or similar)
    • Experience with basic networking concepts
    • Familiarity with Dell sizing tools and configuration workflows
    • Established relationships with Dell or Arrow sales and support contacts
    • A great listener with a consultative, customer-first approach

    Benefits and perks

    • Fully remote position
    • 50% health insurance premium subsidy
    • Retirement benefits available for full-time employees
