POSITION OVERVIEW

This role serves as a key technical and commercial resource for sales teams, customers, field personnel, and internal departments. The individual in this position is instrumental in supporting revenue growth and profitability goals by delivering expert guidance and responsive service. Responsibilities include selecting, designing, and optimizing equipment, as well as diagnosing issues and recommending corrective actions to enhance customer system performance and reliability.

CORE DUTIES

• Prepare and deliver accurate quotations for aftermarket components in response to requests from sales personnel.

• Provide technical guidance to both customers and internal sales teams, with a strong understanding of agitators and related rotating equipment.

• Respond quickly to equipment failures by identifying root causes and recommending both immediate fixes and long-term improvements.

• Support customers in developing spare parts strategies and emergency preparedness plans.

• Collaborate across departments such as engineering, procurement, field service, and order management to ensure smooth operations.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Engineering Technology, applied sciences) or equivalent hands-on industry experience; machine shop or service background is advantageous.

• Strong ability to clearly explain technical concepts in both written and verbal formats.

• Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and responsive approach to sales support.

• Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with JDE systems is a plus.

• Experience working with industrial or rotating equipment is preferred.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.

• Competency in basic mathematical calculations.
