Job Purpose: The Mobile System Engineer will support mobile application by managing Navy-specific integration, cybersecurity compliance, and training/support tasks. This role will handle integration with Navy App Locker and DOMA/EMCMS, ensure NIST SP 800-171 compliance, and deliver training for OPNAV N171B/CNIC N94 content managers.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure integration with Navy App Locker and compliance with PMW240 requirements.

Update Distributed Object Mobile Architecture (DOMA) and Enterprise Management Content Mobile System (EMCMS), tracking and documenting changes.

Verify compatibility with iOS and Android OS updates, documenting compliance.

Manage cloud storage for Government-provided data, ensuring security and accessibility.

Conduct cybersecurity reviews to ensure NIST SP 800-171 and DFARS 252.204-7012 compliance, including scans and mitigation.

Perform Basic DoD Assessment and submit scores to SPRS.

Monitor app uptime to maintain 95% availability, using automated tools and manual checks.

Secure cloud storage to meet DoD standards.

Develop training materials (guides, documentation) for OPNAV N171B and CNIC N94 content managers on AppGyver’s CMS.

Deliver training sessions (4 sessions) to ensure Navy independence in content management.

Provide technical support during government business hours for app issues.

Handle user feedback via the app’s feedback form.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3+ years of experience with DoD IT projects, including mobile app integration and cybersecurity.

Proficiency in Navy-specific systems (e.g., Navy App Locker, PMW240, DOMA/EMCMS).

Knowledge of NIST SP 800-171 and DFARS 252.204-7012 compliance requirements.

Experience developing and delivering technical training for non-technical users.

Strong communication skills for virtual collaboration via MS Teams.

Ability to manage multiple technical disciplines (integration, cybersecurity, training).

Preferred:

Cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+).

Experience with no-code platforms (e.g., AppGyver) and mobile app ecosystems.

Familiarity with Navy family readiness programs or similar DoD initiatives.
