    Job Description

    Wide format printing solutions company is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support & Training Specialist to provide remote installation support and training for advanced wide format printers. This role requires a strong background in production printing and wide format technologies, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and deliver expert training remotely. The ideal candidate will excel in a Windows environment, possess exceptional problem-solving skills, and have a proven record in production printing.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Remote Support & Installation:
    * Assist clients in the remote installation of wide format printers.
    
    * Guide clients through printer setup, including paper and ink installation, as well as driver installation and troubleshooting.
    
    • Client Training:
    * Provide comprehensive remote training on our design software.
    
    * Educate clients on optimal printer setup and maintenance practices.
    
    • Technical Troubleshooting:
    * Answer technical support calls and resolve issues efficiently.
    
    * Diagnose and fix common printing and driver-related challenges in a Windows environment.
    
    • Product Expertise:
    * Develop an in-depth understanding of a range of wide format printers—from compact desktop models to high-end latex systems.
    
    * Leverage previous experience in production printing to enhance client support and training.
    
    * Familiarity with RIP software and advanced cutting machines is considered an advantage.
    
    • Administrative & Marketing Support:
    * Maintain detailed records of client interactions and technical issues.
    
    * Collaborate effectively within a team and assist in marketing initiatives.
    
    * Utilize database management and Excel skills to support operational activities.
    

    Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated experience in production printing and wide format printing solutions.

    • Proficient in the Windows operating system, with a strong background in driver installation and technical troubleshooting.

    • Prior experience in technical support or a related field.

    • Excellent communication skills and a talent for remote client training.

    • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to meticulous record keeping.

    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

    • Knowledge of databases and advanced Excel skills is an asset.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Salary: Starting at $40,000 per year (negotiable based on experience).
