Seeking a part-time, Writer/Editor for a 1-year contract!

Does your experience include writing and editing press releases, research papers, and articles related to finance for the financial industry?.

Please send your resume reflecting 5+ years of solid experience:

• Writing and editing technical documents
• Writing and/or editing press releases
• Researching topics for publication
• Writing and editing articles related to finance, statistics, or economics
• Meeting with managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and determine best practices for deliverables
• Planning, managing, tracking, and meeting project schedules and milestones
• Creating graphics, diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to assist readers in understanding articles and papers.

 

Other Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience using/understanding Associated Press (AP) and Government Publishing Office (GPO) standards and guidelines
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite tools (MS Word, Excel)
• Experience supporting federal government clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent writing and grammatical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to present complex data in clear, concise text.
• Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently.
• Ability to edit and proofread other contributors' work.
