Overview: Geospatial Cloud Analytics (GCA) is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to support the creation and refinement of documentation for federal IT contracts. The role focuses on producing clear, compliant, and well-structured written materials — including technical narratives, past performance summaries, and supporting documentation — in response to government solicitations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and project teams to ensure all written deliverables meet federal requirements and company quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

Write, edit, and format technical content for proposals, contract deliverables, and project documentation in support of federal IT efforts.

Review and interpret solicitation requirements (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs) and ensure written materials meet stated guidelines and compliance criteria.

Collaborate with SMEs to accurately convey technical, operational, and management approaches.

Maintain consistency in style, tone, and terminology across documents.

Edit existing materials for clarity, grammar, and compliance.

Organize, store, and manage proposal and contract documentation using company templates and SharePoint.

Assist in the preparation of graphics, charts, and tables to support written content.

    Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Technical Writing, Information Technology, or a related field.

2–5 years of technical writing experience in a federal contracting or IT environment (internships may count).

Strong writing, editing, and formatting skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into plain, compliant language.

Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency solicitation structures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

Experience writing for IT, cybersecurity, cloud services, or audiovisual systems projects.

Knowledge of DoD or Intelligence Community contracting environments.

Ability to create simple graphics and visual aids to enhance written content.
