    Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000.

    **Technical Writer | About You **

    As a Technical Writer, you're responsible for creating and maintaining clear, user-friendly documentation for software applications. You have a strong foundation in writing, whether through coursework, internships, or hands-on projects, and you're eager to grow your skills in a professional setting. You are detail-oriented, curious, and enjoy working with technical teams to ensure information is accurate and easy to understand.

    **Technical Writer | Day-to-Day **

    • Develop and maintain online help systems, user manuals, and internal documentation using Adobe RoboHelp.
    • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and support teams to gather and verify technical information.
    • Organize content logically and ensure consistency in tone, style, and terminology across all documentation.
    • Update documentation to reflect software updates, new features, and user feedback.
    • Create and manage content for multiple output formats (e.g., HTML5, PDF, CHM).
    • Participate in usability testing and incorporate feedback to improve documentation quality and user experience.

    **Technical Writer | Skills & Experience **

    • Proven experience in technical writing, through coursework, internships, or projects, ideally in a software or technical environment.
    • Familiarity with Adobe RoboHelp (2019 or newer) and version control tools like Git (training or exposure is acceptable).
    • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills with attention to clarity and consistency.
    • Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, accessible language using structured authoring techniques.
    • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and XML, and an interest in learning how to manage content across multiple formats.
