Link Solutions has an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Writer/Tester supporting the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity (USAMMDA), in Frederick, MD.

The Technical Writer/Tester will support end-user testing and manage internal documentation supporting the USAMMDA's operations. Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement SharePoint solutions within the environment.
• Work with the SharePoint Lead Designer and other stakeholders throughout the development process.
• Design and develop workflows, lists, forms, and dashboards.
• Ensure SharePoint site standardization via site and content templates, metadata tagging, workflows, and reporting.
• Communicate effectively with customers on a day-to-day basis.
• Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services, and Rest API.
• Experience with Visual Studio, and InfoPath.
• Initiate help desk tickets and provide resolution to issues.
• Maintain and refine permissions and SharePoint groups to assist the lead developer in ensuring proper security controls are in place.

Qualifications

• US Citizen
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
• IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
• AA degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or three (3+) years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Web development (graphical design related to webpage design and layout).
• Experience with SharePoint 2013/2016 design, development, implementation, and testing.

Preferred:

• Active secret clearance.
• IAT Level III Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, etc.).
• Five (5+) years of relevant experience.
• Experience in scheduling, managing document reviews, and development of technical documents for the DoD.
• Demonstrated experience leading a development team.
• Up to date on the latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently.
• Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

This position is subject to the successful acquisition of the contract and the completion of negotiations, both of which are actively underway.
