Technicon Design is looking for a Design Business Manager with a strong background in the design industry, in order to develop its Non-Automotive activities. The position is based in Mission Viejo, California, USA (to discuss).
The ideal candidate is very autonomous with a hands-on mindset, with the capacity to evolve in a start-up environment and to build a business from scratch.

MISSION°1 : STRUCTURE ESTABLISHMENT AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Establish a new structure branded Technicon Design, part of the SEGULA Technologies Group in the US
- Develop the business of your activities inside your perimeter
- Analyse clients’ needs and requirements, execute corresponding feasibility studies
- Check the creditworthiness of customers with the cash manager
- Develop sales proposals, check sales orders
- Validate the choice of teams assigned to a project or a business, in terms of technical skills
- Participate in obtaining the technical quality of the services provided
MISSION°2: ECONOMIC MANAGEMENT OF BUSINESS
- Responsible for the profit made by the unit and contributes to the improvement of margins
- Ensure the economic profitability of the business and of the projects during their course
- Responsible for the process of engagement and review of the offers
- Manage the margins of his unit, controls billing and assets, follows the corresponding budgets
- Responsible for the recovery of overdue debts by acting on his client interlocutors to obtain the settlement
MISSION ° 3: TEAM MANAGEMENT
- Responsible of the administrative management of his unit
- Conducts job interviews
- Check the progress of the clients’ missions within the given time
- Validates collaborators’ leaves requests for whom he is responsible as well as the hours sheets, the self-declarative statements and the reimbursement of expenses’ requests
- Conducts at least one formal interview every 6 months with the employees for whom he is responsible
- In charge of the assessment reports of the personnel attached to it
- Measure customer satisfaction through the planning and the running of quotations’ meetings of customer satisfaction
- Reports to the Branch / Pole Director
MISSION ° 4: REPRESENT THE GROUP’S QUALITY
- Respect the quality procedures of the group
- Contribute to the improvement actions by reassessing the observed dysfunctions and / or by proposing an actions plan
