    Job Summary:

    The in house recruiter is responsible for full recruitment, onboarding, and internal promotion tasks for all direct labor and indirect labor talent at the Asheboro sites.

    Knowledge | Experience | Skills: High School Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree preferred. 1+ years of manufacturing recruiting experience required. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision. Available via phone during the evenings & weekends as needed. Discretion regarding confidential matters.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Provide and maintain staffing rosters for each plant. • Facilitate weekly meetings with each plant to coordinate and prioritize open positions. • Manage the temporary staffing needs for Asheboro Operations. Coordinate with temporary staffing agencies, supervisors, and managers to fill temporary staffing needs. • Track conversion status for temporary employees ensuring timely conversions. • Recruit for direct & indirect labor positions, both internally and externally, via job postings and creative use of internal and external resources and media. • Screens applications in HRIS and conducts phone interviews with candidates. • Coordinate with supervisors and managers to set up direct labor interviews for applicants for hire and promotion (job posting) consideration. • Complete background screenings for all selected applicants. • Coordinate electronic onboarding of new fulltime associates, using Ultipro, to include completion of all new hire paperwork. • Assist with record keeping on AAP. • Support HR with company & plant events, employee meetings, & other projects as needed. • Audit temporary employees’ onboarding packets and correct any issues with agencies. • Schedule new employee orientation dates with new hires and L&D Center. • Maintain and update all employee personnel files. • Manage employee anniversary gift program and retirements. • Track HR expenditures for flowers and prescription safety glasses. • Receive all incoming calls into HR for past employment verifications/current employment verification/eligible for possible rehire. • Attends Job Fairs and other community events to build Technimark brand.
