    Reports to Strategic Initiatives Manager

    SUMMARY The Information Security Specialist will be responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring IT system security for Technologix and its clients. Additional responsibilities will include general IT systems work as primary duties allow. The position also requires candidates to be detail oriented, discrete, and have excellent communication skills. The successful candidate is an individual with good security acumen, an understanding of current technology/processes, and a positive mindset. The position works closely with teams within the Support Operations department as well as other departments daily.

    JR. NOC/SOC ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work within our existing security technology portfolio to report violations, implement security improvements, evaluate trends and anticipate requirements. Engage in day-to-day support of the customers, partners, and systems involved in various organizational processes.
    • Responsible to monitor and detect risks to Technologix and its clients, identify sources and methods of attack, locate and preserve electronic evidence as needed.
    • Will analyze, recommend, develop, implement and maintain systems and processes that protect business and client information.
    • Assist with development, implementation, and operation of access management technology and processes as part of a security essentials service program.
    • Assist with the development and maintenance of access management reports and processes to identify access events, exceptions, or trends which require investigation, remediation, or mitigation.
    • Recognize and codify attacker tools, tactics, and procedures in indicators of compromise (IOCs) that can be applied to current and future investigations

    JR. NOC/SOC ANALYST REQUIREMENTS

    • Actively pursuing a degree in Cyber Engineering, CIS, or related field

    • Familiarity with information system security tools and hardware.

    • Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, PKI.

    • Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and configurations.

    • Understanding of information security and endpoint protection solutions.

    • Strong understanding of parsing, analyzing and identifying events through security logs.

    • Understanding of common security frameworks (ISO, NIST, HiTrust).

    • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
