JOIN THE 2022 FIS UNIVERSITY PROGRAM!

As a 2022 FIS University Program full-time employee, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, professional development seminars and work with a team that is invested in your growth, development, and success; including quarterly performance connects with your manager and bi-annual merit reviews.

This two-year full-time program has start dates in January, March, June and September with a dedicated “Learning Week” where you will:

ABOUT THE TEAM

Our team focuses primarily on supporting clients in the use of the Code Connect platform. This includes clients using the IBS Open APIs to view and manage data, and clients using the Events to receive real time changes to customer data. The support provides Solution analysis, API mapping, integration and testing support, and some product support. We also provide Solution Architecture and integration support across enterprise products.

There are a lot of experienced members on the team from various products and we regularly engage in cross training to share that experience.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

You will be part of a professional services organization, which means clients pay for our expertise above the typical product contract costs. A typical engagement would include initial requirements gathering where you would meet with the client to understand their requirements, strategy, or goals. Following the initial requirements gathering you would participate in an engagement that may run from 3-12 months to support the project. A Technology Business Consultant learn to:

• Gather requirements from clients that define their integration strategy
• Provide support around our API and Web service offering.
• Work with other resources around FIS to provide the level of information needed for the engagement.
• Document the requirements and/or solutions as needed based on the engagement.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree from job discipline
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Self-motivated and willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

ADDED BONUS IF YOU HAVE

• Understanding of Open Banking integration architecture.
• Active listening skills to capture and clarify requirements
• Familiarity with testing tools like Postman or SoapUI
• Experience with log queries/analysis using Splunk.
