Job Description

TMS is seeking an Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) Consultant to join our team!

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS

#1 - Consultant must have a Minimum of five (5) years experience within the last eight (8) years, providing IV&V Services to State entities which include the following tasks:

• Developing IV&V monthly activity reports
• Observing and assessing tools, artifacts, and activities relating to design, development, coding, testing, databases, and project management
• Assessment of business, technical, and enterprise architecture artifacts, tools, and environments
• Conducting risk and issue list reviews
• Performing traceability matrix analysis
• Performing system requirements evaluation
• Conducting system test assessment and verification
• Developing IV&V task reports.

#2 - Must have a Minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years, working in a technical capacity on IT projects for public sector clients.

#3 - Must have a Minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years applying the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Std. 1012 (System and Software Verification and Validation) on IT projects.

#4 - Possession of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent University degree.

#5 - Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

#1 - More than five (5) years’ experience delivering IV&V services to public sector clients.

#2 - Experience delivering IV&V services to State of California public sector clients
