    TECHNOLOGY SERVICE PARTNER - NEW YORK, NY

    This is an exciting opportunity to join the Kantar Technology team! The Technology Service Partner is the face of IT for Kantar and holds end to end accountability for all IT services within the North America region which is one of Kantar largest markets globally. This job requires the candidate to be able to travel and support multiple sites either as part of the day job or for specific projects.

    Working as a trusted advisor, the Technology Service Partner will lead operational and strategic interactions with the business aligning IT and facilitating delivery of technology services and solutions to support the achievement of business outcomes.

    Under Bain Capital’s new ownership, Kantar wants to own the strategy and delivery of comprehensive IT service, to improve reactive support and proactive service performance management, to deliver the tools our employees need to do their jobs and service our clients.

    KEY OUTCOMES

    • Stakeholder relationship management with all levels of the business

    • Voice of the business into Technology Services organisation including helping to articulate business requirements into the technology team

    • Face of the Technology Services organisation, signposting the business into how to consume technical services provided

    • Act as the lead point of contact and escalations for IT within the region

    • Owns the local technology relationship and communication with senior stakeholders (board level)

    • Liaises between local business and global technology service providers (Kantar/3rd parties)

    • Proactively contributes to the future direction of IT business processes, technology strategy and investments in technology within the local country/region

    • To understand and manage the local IT landscape i.e. key applications, assets, infrastructure, and services - know where there are problems / challenges and work with the global technology team to prioritise necessary developments

    • Continuously explore opportunities to improve on IT service delivery, cost reduction and improved business outcomes

    • Conduct service reviews with operating companies to report on service performance and ensure risks and issues arising from IT service are well managed

    CAPABILITIES

    • Ability to work effectively within a global matrix organization, build and maintain relationships at all levels (incl. Board and senior management), and build consensus across functions.

    • Senior stakeholder management experience

    • Good communication skills, written and verbal. Can translate technical terms and concepts into business-oriented language and vice versa.

    • Strong empathic approach to customer service, builds trust and confidence in relationships.

    • A demonstrable ability to lead individuals and teams through complex change

    • Commercial awareness and appreciation of business imperatives.

    • Experience, gravitas, and professionalism to engage and influence at the Executive level

    • Strong customer facing and communication skills, in particular the ability to gain respect and confidence of senior partners within Kantar business

    • Extensive knowledge of ITIL framework and its practical application to Service Management.

    • Track coordinating delivering of integrated portfolios of IT products and services on a large scale.

    • Completer / finisher mentality - has a strong track record of delivery, has attention to detail, is organised and demonstrates excellent time management skills

    • Good commercial insight with a comprehensive appreciation of how technology can enable positive business change

    • Vendor management experience

    The salary range for this role in New York is $76,100 - $126,800. Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
