Summary of Responsibilities
A Technology Solutions Architect bridges the gap between complex technical products and customer business needs, serving as a trusted advisor throughout both pre-sales and post-sales engagements. This role involves designing, demonstrating, and implementing tailored technology solutions that effectively address client challenges and deliver measurable value.
As a client-facing professional, the Technology Solutions Architect must maintain a high level of professionalism and communication, translating complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused insights for diverse audiences. Additionally, this role is responsible for evaluating existing and prospective client technology environments, identifying weaknesses, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. The engineer must be equally comfortable communicating at both executive and technical levels, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.

Areas of Responsibility
- Increase Non-Recurring Revenue: Boost project sales by identifying and developing IT solutions that meet client needs.
- Increase Monthly Recurring Revenue: Expand managed services by integrating long-term IT strategies with client goals.
- Client Engagement: Help clients understand, adopt, and leverage DivergeIT's suite of services.
- Foster and Develop Team Integration, Department Cooperation, and Collaboration: Providing clear pathways for service teams to align with and meet client requirements.
Essential Functions
- Owns architecture vision, transformation strategy, and IT estate harmonization across clients.
- Defines reference architectures and reusable patterns across multiple clients and industries.
- Use market trends, competitive landscape, and industry benchmarks to shape client strategy.
- Leads and facilitate complex executive forums (CTO/CIO/CEO), influencing strategic direction.
- Frames ambiguous business problems and defines transformation opportunities.
- Shapes deal strategy, defines architecture vision, and influences complex pursuits.
- Defines strategic architecture direction within proposals and programs.
- Establishing architecture standards across teams influences internal service offerings and delivery models.
- Owns transformation outcomes and value realization across engagements.
- Defines governance frameworks, standards, and architecture review processes across clients.
- Translates enterprise strategy into architectural direction and investment priorities.
Education and or Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Comprehensive IT Services including infrastructure, security, and managed services.
- 13+ Years of combined IT project management and business analysis, or roles bridging both domains.
- Deep understanding of software development life cycle, systems architecture, integrations, and IT operations.
- Experience leading cloud initiatives and emerging technologies.
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Cisco Meraki and general networking principles; Microsoft Azure cloud services; Microsoft 365 collaboration and productivity tools; ScalePad; LifeCycle; IT Glue; PowerBI and others.
Travel Requirements
This position typically has 60% travel associated with its functions.
Must be able to travel by air, boat, train, and vehicular modes.
