Technology Trainer
Purpose of the Job Position
The primary purpose of the position is to empower individuals and teams with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively use technology in their roles.
Delegation of Authority
As the Technology Trainer, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

Duties and Responsibilities
Aid in all client facing applications supported by the Office of Information Technology.
Train staff on all supported technologies using various training methods like instructor-led (in person and/or virtually), Video training, eLearning/Learning Management System
Develop and maintain training curriculums.
Project manage necessary installations, upgrades, updates and/or maintenance of training equipment.
Knowledge of and implementation of the mission and philosophy of the organization within the scope of responsibilities.
Maintain client confidentiality in conformance with Agency confidentiality policy, professional standards, and state laws and regulations.
Maintain IT security in compliance with NIST, HITECH and HIPAA guidelines.
Confer with personnel of organizational units including management and staff involved to clarify program objectives, analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats for reports.
Conduct training needs analysis pertaining to the development of new training initiatives.
Track all training and provide reports as needed.
Prepare time and cost estimates for training hardware and software.
May oversee installation of hardware and software.
Provide technical assistance to software application users.
May install and test programs.
Monitor performance of training after completion. Evaluate the effectiveness of trainings
Attend and participate in in-service educational classes, and or professional development sessions as directed.
Attend and participate in workshops, seminars, etc., as approved.
Acquire specialized training and/or certification in relevant subject matter, on a yearly basis.
Other duties as assigned by Chief Information Office (CIO), Catholic Human Services (CHS).
Skills and Abilities
Ability to teach adult learners of varying expertise.
Ability to diagnose and solve application related issues.
Knowledge of IT hardware and equipment.
Self-motivated & ability to work independently
Working understanding and experience with all current operating systems and productivity applications.
Ability to teach applications including but not limited to: Microsoft Office, MS365, Teams, Zoom, Google Workspace, Windows, Mac OS, IOS, Android and Web
Ability to learn and understand IT management software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
High level of customer service.
Strength to face new challenges.
Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills.

Valid driver’s license; position requires travel throughout the 5-county area.
