Job Description
TechX is seeking to fill an immediate position for a Test Engineer supporting our Army customer. The individual should have a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or another related discipline, with experience in the following areas:
-Utilizing the TSVCIS Conformance Test Tool (CTT)
Developing test plans, procedures, and reports.
Configuring Army radios in support of TSVCIS testing
Developing interface cables in support of radio integration
Troubleshooting the test environment to resolve issues and determine the root cause
Ability to work with customers to resolve issues.
Developing and maintaining NSA’s TSVCIS CTT environment
Experience with Army radios and waveforms
Familiarity with the Windows and Ubuntu operating system.
Knowledge of LINUX administration
IP Networking
Knowledge of radio frequency operating theory
Ability to connect radios using RF cables and attenuators to communicate
Ability to utilize test equipment including spectrum analyzers, power meters, and multi-meters to troubleshoot. Isolate, and resolve issues with the TSVCIS test environment.
Hands on experience with the following devices: PRC-117F/G, PRC-148, PRC-150, PRC-160, PRC-163, KY-58/KY-58M, KY-99/KY-99M, KY-100/KY-100M, KYV-5/KYV-5M, Attenuators, RF cables and connectors
