Job Summary
We are currently looking for an IT Help Desk Analyst to work part-time at our main office in Cheektowaga, New York. The primary role of this position is to support and maintain a fleet of PCs, tablets, printers, and software support systems. The candidate will work closely with our IT Manager, Help Desk Analyst, Managers, Supervisors, and other team members spread throughout the country. The successful candidate will further their practical work experience and skills, while bringing a fresh perspective, and new ideas to our organization.
Responsibilities:
· Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to resolve requests and build knowledge to assist in future incident triage and resolution
· Provide technical support and subject matter expertise to users
· Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, and printers
· Repair and replace equipment as necessary
Education & Experience:
· Earned diploma
· Earned associate degree or working towards obtaining bachelor's degree in IT-related concentration
· 1-2 years of customer interaction and IT support experience
· At least 6 months of Training and guiding users experience
Required Skills & Abilities:
· A strong understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
· Strong problem-solving, data analysis, project management, and critical thinking skills (highly desired)
· Ability to work well and thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
· Knowledge of internet technology and protocols including DNS, HTTP, SMTP, and related technologies
· Knowledge of information security principles, including risk assessment and management, threat and vulnerability management, incident response, and identity and access management
· Knowledge of network infrastructure and associated network protocols and concepts
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
· Ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time
· Must be able to walk the manufacturing floor on a regular basis
