    We are seeking a full-time video editor and producer to join our firm. This position will be responsible for editing photos and producing videos from raw footage for external purposes. This position will play a vital role in the firm's success, as videos are the best way of communicating the firm's message across multimedia platforms. You will collaborate closely with attorneys and the marketing team to produce compelling videos that effectively convey the firm's brand, expertise, and services. Your work will play a crucial role in enhancing the firm's online presence, client engagement, and overall marketing strategy. Responsibilities: • Video Production: Conceptualize, plan, shoot, and edit professional videos for law firm marketing purposes, including promotional videos, attorney profiles, client testimonials, event coverage, educational content, trending content, television ads, and more. • Storytelling and Scriptwriting: Develop engaging narratives and scripts that effectively communicate key messages and capture the attention of target audiences, ensuring legal compliance and accuracy of the content. • Technical Expertise: Operate and maintain video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio devices, and editing software, ensuring high-quality video production. • Shooting and Editing: Capture high-definition footage and images, and manage post-production tasks such as video editing, color correction, audio enhancement, and visual effects to produce polished and professional videos. • Collaboration: Collaborate with attorneys, marketing teams, and other team members to understand their goals and requirements, provide creative input, and deliver video content that meets their objectives. • Project Management: Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, including timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality. • Video Optimization: Optimize videos for various online platforms, including websites, social media channels, and video-sharing platforms, considering factors such as file formats, resolutions, aspect ratios, and SEO best practices. • Stay Updated: Continuously research industry trends, video production techniques, and emerging technologies to bring innovative ideas and solutions to the firm's video marketing efforts. • Hires talent, and negotiates contracts and schedules with essential staff, such as makeup artists, editors, and graphic artists if necessary • Directs on-screen talent • Scriptwriting for multimedia advertising • Inputting effects, graphics, dialogues, sound effects, and music into videos to make them more appealing to the audience. • Ensuring that the audio and visual elements in the final products are appropriate for broadcasting. • Capturing and producing high-quality photographs and videos. Qualifications: • Experience in Filmmaking, Cinematography, or relevant field. • Three to five years of experience as a Video Editor, Video Specialist, or similar role in the Media Industry. • Experience in a professional services environment is strongly desired. • Outstanding experience with special effects, 3D, Adobe, Final Cut Pro X, and compositing. • Solid experience using video editing software like Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, etc. • Creative thinker and excellent time management skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred • Ability to travel by car or plane to other offices and off-site locations. Travel estimates are moderate (15-20%). • Proven experience as a videographer, preferably within the legal industry or related professional services. • Proficiency in video production tools and software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software. • Strong technical skills in operating video cameras, lighting equipment, audio recording devices, and other relevant tools. • Excellent storytelling and scriptwriting abilities with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in a compelling and accessible manner. • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality throughout the video production process. • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Knowledge of video optimization techniques for online platforms and an understanding of SEO best practices. • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with attorneys, marketing teams, and other stakeholders. • A portfolio of past video projects that demonstrates creativity, technical proficiency, and the ability to produce high-quality video content. Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000
