Responsibilities: Oversee personal injury case files from beginning to end Settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate and negotiate reasonable agreements Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation Investigate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather information Maintain updated status documentation of all case files in the case management system Qualifications: Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills are highly valued Three years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in wrongful death, medical malpractice, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is a necessity Membership in the State Bar Association and a state license to practice law is mandatory A good understanding of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is desired Must be computer proficient • Strong Case Management System skills. We use Case Management software. We want lawyers who are proficient in working on cases in a CM system and doing it at volume -- without sacrificing client experience. Compensation: $100,000 - $350,000 yearly
