Digital Media & Content Creation Specialist

Ted’s Café Escondido and Ted’s Tacos and Cantina are searching for a full-time Digital Media & Content Creation Specialist. This position will be primarily responsible for content creation for Ted’s digital marketing accounts, including short-form video production and graphics for social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok), website, in-store marketing and more.

Primary Job Duties

1. Production of short-form videos and photography, including shooting and editing, utilizing a smartphone and/or camera

2. Constant creation of new marketing ideas for pictures and videos

3. Manage planning, development, placement, monitoring and reporting of video and graphic content

4. Assist with social media marketing management, including content creation, reviewing social posts, community engagement and reputation management

5. Respond and engage with online guest comments and questions in a timely and professional manner

6. Work with Marketing Manager and Operations Team to define audience, message and tactics for digital communications while ensuring digital efforts are in line with company goals and strategies.

7. Assist other departments with creative outreach ideas, as needed

8. Manage fundraisers and donations for the Company

9. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

1. Proficiency in video publishing platforms

2. Experience with professional cameras and iPhone

3. Writing copy for video, web and social media platforms

4. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite

5. Ability to complete work with speed, accuracy and clarity.

6. Extremely high attention to detail

7. Outgoing and creative personality

8. Knowledge of new media technologies and social media trends, including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram Stories/Reels, Twitter Fleets and YouTube Shorts.

9. Bachelor's degree, Marketing or creative majors preferred

Working Conditions

1. Must be able to work a 40 hour work week

2. Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel, mostly in the Oklahoma City area

3. Flexible work from home schedule, with frequent trips to restaurants
