Ted’s Montana Grill, recently named #1 Bar and Grill by Consumer Reports, has an exceptional opportunity for a Director of Operations in our Atlanta, GA Market. Ted’s Montana Grill isn’t your ordinary restaurant, so we aren’t looking for ordinary people. We’re Premium, Polished and Professional - and we’re Cool (known as 3PC). This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned multi-unit operator capable of elevating execution and embracing our “Big Sky Spirit” and our Core values of Bold, Spirited, Steadfast, Ownership and Genuine Hospitality. The Director of Operations is the “keeper of the culture” – passionate for both the legacy and lore, as well as the execution of the standards of Ted’s Montana Grill.
OWNERSHIP: At Ted’s, our Operations Team are empowered to make decisions and lead their business. Directors of Operations have the following core responsibilities:
People – Selection, hiring, training and development of the best Managers and Team Members. Communicates performance goals and standards to that Management understands expectations and how they are linked to organization’s vision, mission and goals – then holds the teams accountable for results.
Execution – growing guest counts and repeat guests through Great Food, Service and Attitude. Demonstrate a “guest first” mentality – ensuring excellent guest experiences through stable, well-trained, and fully staffed hourly and management teams and promoting Ted’s standards for quality of operations.
Sales – Maximizing sales growth through passionate leadership, staffing and training. Utilizing focused management of systems to ensure profits will follow (no compromises, no short-cuts, no matter what).
Profits – Possess a clear understanding of how to achieve bottom-line results by creating and growing top-line efforts – and having the systems in place that monitor costs.
REQUIREMENTS:
3 years as a Multi-Unit Operator in a restaurant setting
Upscale Casual or Fine Dining experience (preferred)
Sustainable operational results with solid job history
Stellar business acumen – managing P/L, sales-building
Enjoy hands-on leadership and employ strong coaching skills
