    MAINTENANCE MECHANIC POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING BUILDING, EQUIPMENT AND UTILITIES.  RESPONSIBLE FOR INSPECTING AND PERFORMING PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE ON ALL EQUIPMENT AND MAKING REQUIRED REPAIRS.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum 3 years repair and maintenance experience.
    • Must have understanding and working knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical equipment and the ability to troubleshoot problems.
    • Must be a team player able to work well with other employees, and willing to perform additional duties as necessary.
    • AA Degree.
    • Some experience fabricating equipment and welding.
    • Knowledge and/or experience with refrigeration or HVAC is a plus.
    • Applicants with electrical training, computer skills and/or electrical mechanical aptitude skills will be given priority consideration. Candidates with these skills should ensure they list all training and/or work experience on their resume.

    DUTIES

    • Repair, replace and maintain building, utilities and equipment.

    • Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility.

    • Assist during line equipment setup and changeover.

    • Maintain spare parts inventory and help with the maintenance shop organization.

    • Troubleshoot equipment and reduce line downtime by providing viable solutions.

    • Participate with outside of the box ideas to improve equipment/ processes.

    BENEFITS

    Medical, dental, vision and prescription benefits will be offered after 90 days of full-time employment. Paid Time Off (PTO) will be front loaded on the 91st day of employment. Holiday pay, profit sharing and 401K plan (with up to 4% employer matching contributions) will be available to candidate selected following completion of one year of continuous full-time employment.

    WORK SCHEDULE:  DAY SHIFT, SWING SHIFT AND NIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLE (one weekend work day required of all Maintenance Mechanics).
