    The QC Tech is responsible for upholding a high standard of safety, sanitation, and quality throughout the entire facility. Duties include ensuring that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and standards are being followed at all times.

    DRUG SCREEN will be required of candidate selected for position. Teeny Foods participates in E-VERIFY program. Candidate selected for position will be required to have employment eligibility verified through E-Verify system.  BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION is a requirement for the applicant selected for this position.

    PAY RATE: $17.00 PH.  Pay will be reviewed following successful completion of 90 day introductory period.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • High School Diploma or GED required. College level Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or other related coursework or degree preferred.

    • Candidates must have excellent communication skills including the ability to write clearly.

    • Strong attention to detail is required of candidates for this position.

    • Although not a requirement for this position, applicants who are bi-lingual (preferably in Spanish or Russian languages) are strongly encouraged to apply.

    • Candidate must be team player willing to perform additional duties as required.

    • Applicants must be able to lift 25 lbs. routinely.

    • 1 year of quality control experience preferred, including mathematical skills.

    SHIFT:  SWING SHIFT from 2:30 pm 11:00 pm.

    Weekend work is mandatory requirement during busy production periods.

    DUTIES

    • Quality check of products including: measuring the products specifications; verifying correct packaging and coding of product; inspecting packaging label and code; and inspecting overall process.

    • Quality control shift check including: inspection of the plant, adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), safety and cleanliness; checking flour sifter and magnets; and checking the temperatures of the cooler and freezer.

    • Product evaluation including: checking the product at raw and oven areas; and requesting alterations to the product if needed.

    • Product checks including: raw, mix, cheese mix, and oven temperature checks; and special product packaging sheets.

    • Special projects assigned by Quality Assurance Manager or supervisor.

    BENEFITS: Medical, dental, and vision benefits will be offered after 90 days of continuous employment. Paid Time Off (PTO) will be front loaded on the 91st day of employment.  401K plan with limited matching contributions, paid holidays and profit sharing will be available to candidate selected following completion of one full year of continuous employment.  Scholarship and education reimbursement is additional benefit offered by company.
